Remote WordPress Developer (Full-Time) – Website Maintenance & Custom Development
🌐 Work Mode: Remote (Open to global candidates, preference for overlapping EST hours)
🕒 Job Type: Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Flexible Timing (Must be available 4 hours during US working hours)
💰 Salary: $1,000 – $1,500/month (Based on experience and portfolio)

PixelForge Media is a fast-growing digital agency specializing in modern, responsive websites and eCommerce solutions. We serve small to mid-sized businesses, offering full-stack WordPress development, SEO, and site optimization services. Our core clients are based in North America.
📝 Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom WordPress themes from scratch
- Modify existing themes using child themes and custom CSS/JS
- Develop and maintain custom plugins when required
- Perform regular updates, backups, and security monitoring
- Ensure website performance, speed optimization, and mobile responsiveness
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and QA team over Slack & Trello
- Troubleshoot and debug issues on staging and live environments
- Implement third-party APIs and integrations (Mailchimp, Stripe, Zapier, etc.)
🧑💻 Required Skills:
✅ 3+ years of WordPress development experience
✅ Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and MySQL
✅ Experience with page builders like Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery
✅ Familiarity with version control (Git preferred)
✅ Understanding of Core Web Vitals & on-page SEO basics
✅ Ability to write clean, modular code with attention to UX and performance
✅ Excellent communication and self-management skills
✅ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects
